Essential Question: How have the people, places, ideas, and events that shaped the world also shaped our lives?


Required for graduation, Global Studies incorporates the history, geography, economics, and cultures from around the world. A comparative approach to governments, religions, geography, and other studies is used. There is a focus on critical thinking, decision making, data gathering, and effective human relations. Regions studied during first semester include Africa, The Middle East, and Asia. Second semester focuses on Europe and the Americas.
